Course overview:
Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) is the treatment method designed by Toshikatsu Yamamoto, MD. This technique has efficacy in treating cerebral infarction (CI), intracerebral bleeding, paralysis by central nervous system disease, lower back pain, stiff shoulder, numbness, dizziness, ear ringing. Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture is a needling technique using a 0.25mm needle on the scalp based on unique clinical theory and with proven results. In this 3 day seminar, you will learn:

What troubles and symptoms YNSA is effective in treating
The difference between YNSA and other scalp acupuncture techniques
Protocols used to apply YNSA in actual clinical treatment
YNSA style diagnosis
YNSA’s acupuncture points (Basic, Intermediate, Advance)
Most recent case studies by Dr. Yamamoto
Application of YNSA techniques on geriatric hospital population
Hands-on training sessions of YNSA

Please note that YNSA uses acupuncture needles that penetrate the skin (as opposed to contact needling on the surface of the skin).  As a result, unlicensed attendees who are not currently-enrolled AIMC students, will not be permitted to engage in needling during the training session, but will be able participate in all other aspects of the hands-on training (palpatory diagnosis and treatment, observation, discussion, etc.).
